Builder, product marketer and AI enthusiast. I ship my own apps, like Sift (siftphotos.pro), Penlo (penlo.app), Ectobuilder (ectobuilder.com) and Cubbie (cubbie.pro), and write about building and marketing them with AI.
Fresh writing, straight from the editor.
Sift is a Chrome extension that finds duplicates, big videos and junk in Google Photos, shows how much space each clean-up frees, and uses Chrome's on-device AI so your photos never leave your computer.
Cubbie is a free Chrome extension that gives claude.ai folders, tabs, a Ctrl K switcher, a glow when a reply is being written, and themes for the whole page.
Penlo makes the handwritten notes on your e-ink tablet searchable. Here's the full tour: direct BOOX sync with the new Android app, Dropbox and OneDrive for every other tablet, pairing in one tap, Penlo AI, exports and MCP.
I built Ectobuilder because designing a Ghost theme still meant writing Handlebars. Now you pick one of 17 finished themes, change everything on the page, and publish a real Ghost theme to your site in one click.
Windows sends every link to one browser and ignores your profiles. Junction is a free app that opens Slack, Teams and Outlook links in the right Chrome or Edge profile, and asks only once.
How I built Penlo, an app that makes e-ink tablet notes searchable, as a solo founder with AI, and what marketing a deliberately niche product has taught me.
Penlo's new built-in chat lets you talk to your notes the same way you'd talk to Claude. No MCP setup. No API keys. Open Penlo, type a question, get an answer grounded in what you actually wrote.
Your e-ink tablet is great for writing, but your handwritten notes are essentially trapped in a digital drawer. Here is a 5-minute guide to unlocking them.
The problem From the moment I unboxed my Pixel Watch 3, the crown was glitchy. It only registered a press every two or three tries. This isn’t some exotic failure mode
An honest look at what the companion apps for every major e-ink tablet actually give you, and the one thing none of them have figured out
You've prepared for this. You know your experience inside out. And then a question – maybe a slight variation on what you expected, maybe framed in a way you didn't anticipate – and your mind goes completely blank.
Publishing a Chrome extension? Your store listing images are the first thing potential users see – and they can make or break your download numbers. A polished, professional presence in the Chrome Web Store builds trust and clearly communicates what your extension does.
